What happens to the details you send me, in plain English.
This website belongs to Coached by Johan, the personal training business of Johan Visagie, Melbourne. "I" and "me" below means Johan.
What I collect
Only what you type into the form on the Contact page: your first and last name, email address, phone number (if you give it), whether you'd like to train in person or online, and your message.
Please don't put health details in the form. If they matter for your training, we'll go through them at the consult.
The site has no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.
Why I collect it
To reply to you, arrange your free consult and answer your questions. I won't add you to a mailing list, and I don't sell or share your details for marketing.
How it's handled
- When you send the form, it's passed through Cloudflare, which hosts this site, and sent on by Resend, an email delivery service, as an email to my inbox (Apple iCloud Mail). The website itself doesn't keep a copy. Resend keeps a delivery record of each email, including its content, for a limited time.
- Cloudflare, Resend and Apple may store and process data outside Australia, including in the United States.
- To keep out spam, the form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks technical details such as your IP address and browser to tell a person from a bot.
- I keep enquiry emails only as long as I need them to work with you, and delete them when they're no longer needed.
Your choices

If you're unhappy with how I've handled your details, tell me first and I'll do my best to put it right. You can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
